Our Hallowed Ground Medical Events

OUR HALLOWED GROUND MEDICAL EVENTS

The Society "Hallowed Ground Medical Events" provide members with the ability to reenact on actual medical sites of the Civil War. We are fortunate that we can educate the public in this fashion. To provide living history in this venue allows us to honor the men and women of both sides that tried to save the wounded, provide humanity for the dying, and perform dignified burials for those that had given the "last full measure." You must be a member of The Society to participate. Each year we have at least two events for Society members.

The events for 2025 are:

Battle of New Market, at New Market, Virginia. This is being held in cooperation with Virginia Military Institute. The dates are:
